| Tommy came to Monbulk as a 3
week old kitten. He was the very first cat I ever had in my life. He grew up and we both
became very attached to each other. Whenever I worked outside, he would follow me and sometimes even onto the road. One day he came back with 3/4 or his tail hanging loose. I found out that he had been run over by a car. It was so bad that the tail had to be amputated. That gave him a new look altogether and did not stop him from bringing many girlfriend cats home. He was a very proud father too. He would always sit on my lap when I watched television or he would sit near the ducted heating outlet for warmth. He died at the age of 13. I have fond memories of Tommy. He was a great Tom Cat and had a great life. He was also a great companion to Kimby, my Australian Terrier. I miss you Tommy. Your Dad Cyrille. |
